Industrial designer Wooteik Lim designed new wall clocks. Their peculiarity lies in the fact that they combine new technology and old methods of determining the time. These clocks have no indices, although today it is no longer a rarity. They do not have usual arrows, although this is not news. However, the design of the clock immediately attracts with its brevity. Most of all, they look like it a tree branch that grows out of the walls of your apartment. And its colors may be different. The designer offers five colors: green, yellow, white, blue and pink.

And why to use ancient methods of determining the time? The fact is that people previously determined time with the help of the sun on the so-called “sundial”. Time was determined by the shadow length change from the gnomon and its movement on the dial. In this case, the case of the watch can be used as the gnomon (pointer).
Such wall-clocks may not only be used for their intended purpose, but also fulfill an aesthetic function, decorating your interior with unusual natural form.
